The Bir Hakeim Bridge crosses
the Seine near the Eiffel Tower. Halfway across the river is a narrow
island, l'Allée des Cygnes, that extends a long distance,
perpendicular to the bridge. There is a delightful pedestrian way
under a shady avenue of trees.
Stroke the picture vertically to move across the bridge. Rapid motion
transforms the columns into a transparent screen. Stroke the picture
horizontally to bring on the trees. The columns dissolve and mix with
the leafy avenue.
Rapid motion makes them disappear completely in riotous green. |
