Four Corners

The morning sun gives rapidly way to a violent storm.

Hoz de Jaca is a small village built on a cliff overhanging the artificial lake of Búbal, in the Valle de Tena. These lakes are common on the rivers on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees, constructed to irrigate the vast arid territories of the Iberian Peninsula.

Beyond the poppy field, the Sierra de Limes. I am at the western limit of the study area. In a way, this picture constitues its south-western corner. A new theme for the work: now I must find the other three corners...

I am finally chased away by marauding thunder.
