It is the beginning of August, the city is finely tuned to provide for its touristic vocation. Shopping frenzy rules: it is late afternoon, closing time approaches, and it is the period of the summer sales, the opportunity for the biggest discounts. Tourists and inhabitants scurry through the streets on a quest for the best deal, manoeuvring their bulky bags, full of merchandise. This photographic work uses the "gutworks" technique. |
